EIOPA is supportive of the inclusion of internal models in the ICS, focusing on their use as an enhanced risk management instrument. EIOPA also welcomes that work continues in important areas such as internal models, on which a workshop was organised recently by the IAIS. EIOPA is pleased to see that ICS 2.0 incorporates a well-designed market-adjusted valuation, capital requirements that are adequate and risk-sensitive and capital resources that are of appropriate quality. The IAIS has already achieved substantial progress in the development of the ICS, with the agreement of ICS 2.0 and the launch of the Monitoring Period in 2019, representing an important milestone of that progress.ĭuring this phase, EIOPA has remained strongly committed to the ICS, a project that is of great importance for the global insurance supervisory community.

I would be happy to keep using iVMS-4200 if I could only get it to see my HDD for auto record and not just manual record. The development of the Insurance Capital Standard (ICS) by the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) has been, since its inception in 2013, recognized by EIOPA as a key step for the enhancement of global financial stability as well as policyholder protection. The iVMS-4500 on my windows phone works great, and the iVMS-4200 client works great on my computer for live views and manually recording video and taking snapshots, the only problem I have is that I not been able to figure out is why the iVMS-4200 can "see" my HDD to record to it manually, but when I try to set up the iVMS-4200 storage server so I can set up auto record when motion is detected it doesn't "see" my HDD.

So unless someone has a solution that does not require uninstalling all the other software on my computer I'll just go back trying to get iVMS-4200 fully functional, even though it seems it is a challenge also, but at least I got it to install. Click to expand.Okay, I manually installed IIS again, rebooted, and tried installing the Milestone software again but still get the same error message saying IIS was not automatically installed and needed to be installed manually, even though it WAS already installed manually.
